JESSE FREEDMAN is a New York City based theater director and collaborator.
He is a director of new works, classical plays and original performance works that are complex textures of ideas and sensations. His work has been presented at The New Ohio, The Brick, La Mama, The Connelly, The Doxsee @ Target Margin, IRT Theater, Theater for the New City and Dixon Place. His his has collaborated with Target Margin Theater, WorryNoiseDirtHeat, The Anthropologists, New Yiddish Rep., The Living Theater, Jewish Plays Project, Maltz-Jupiter Theater. He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Meta-Phys. Ed, Illusions Assistant for Harry Potter and Cursed Child on Broadway and Tokyo. He is a Target Margin Theater Associated Artist. He holds MFA in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College.
